Stuart Usher

I joined the West Lothian team under Tom Mann so that I could help people draft their Wills.  My motivation in doing so was because I had become aware of the losses suffered by many families, including my own, because of (Firstly) badly written Wills and (Secondly) Wills which had not been registered with the Registers of Scotland in Edinburgh.  The latter point means that the Wills done through us can never be lost or otherwise interfered with.

(The firm will “Register the Original of every Will with the Registers of Scotland”.)

Here is some background on myself:

I live in the Borders but come off the well known Usher family of Edinburgh.  My family donated the world famous Usher Hall to Edinburgh and the Usher Health Institute to Edinburgh University in the late 1800′s, amongst many other benefactions to Scotland.  I myself became the subject of a Channel Four Documentary in its “Cutting Edge series” in 2002,  for the nasty edges I had cut to ribbons in my life for the betterment of our society.

Rotten Wills can, and often do,  have some very nasty edges in them.  I help all those many people who come to us for help in making their Wills avoid these nasty edges.
